Afroase Okazi/Eru/Fumbua/Koko Leaves frozen 200g – The heart of Cameroonian Eru
Okazi leaves are well known in Nigeria; in Cameroon they are called Eru or Fumbua – and they are the centrepiece of Cameroon’s most famous dish: Eru. This deep green leafy vegetable, with its slightly tart, aromatic flavour, is finely chopped and combined with waterleaf, palm oil and meat to create one of West Africa’s most hearty stews.

Serving suggestion
After defrosting, squeeze the leaves well and cut into fine strips. Cook into Eru with waterleaf, palm oil, meat, crayfish and spices. Serve with Fufu or Garri. Available from Osina Afro Market in Switzerland.
