Korerima Ganz ኮረሪማ 100g
Korerima, also called Ethiopian cardamom, is used in Ethiopian cuisine to flavor various sauces. It is often used in the preparation of curry powders and is an important ingredient in spice blends such as berbere, mitmita, awaze and niter kibe (spiced butter). Korerima seeds contain valuable oils that give off a fragrant, nutmeg-like aroma.
Korerima grows in areas similar to wild coffee varieties - at altitudes of 1000 to 2000 meters in mostly open land areas in high altitude rainforests. Korerima is harvested from wild plants in the west, south and southeast of Ethiopia.
